Appeals
What should a student who disagrees with the lecturer’s evaluation and/or assessment procedures do?
The student or listener who does not agree with the lecturer’s evaluation and/or assessment procedures may submit an appeal to the Dean of the Faculty (the Chancellor of the Academy) where the student is studying, under the Description of the Appeals Procedure approved by the Rector.
For what reasons is a student entitled to file the appeal?
The student has the right to appeal against assessments of study results and violations of assessment procedures.
What is the timeline for the student to file the appeal?
The student has the right to file an appeal within 5 working days after the assessment is published on the Student Self-Service Portal (www.studentas.vdu.lt).
