Those, who terminated their accommodation contract, will have the chance to keep their room
At the initiative of VMU Student Representatives, students who have terminated the dormitory accommodation contract from this year on April 1st, after the end of the quarantine, will have the right to return to the dormitory room where they lived before the termination of the contract.
Students who terminated the accommodation contract from this year on April 1st, will have the right to request to return to live in the same place of residence in the dormitory where they lived before the termination of the contract by filling in an electronic application in the prescribed form, which will be published at http://apgyvendinimas.vdu.lt, but not later than this year’s 31st of July.
Students who have not yet terminated the accommodation contract must send a letter (to studentas@vdu.lt) from their Outlook mailbox informing the university of the termination of the dormitory contract and the date of departure (no later than 10 working days after the letter is sent). The date of termination of the accommodation contract must be noted by an e-mail date of the receipt of the letter from which the calculation of the accommodation fee is suspended.
Students who before this year’s 31st of July will not provide an online request to return to the dormitory room where he or she lived before the date of departure will lose the priority right to receive it, but will have the opportunity to choose a place of residence from the publicly published list of available dormitory residences.
The procedure for concluding an accommodation contract and moving into a dormitory room where people lived before moving out does not apply to students who graduated in the 2020 spring semester.
